There is NO way of opening the chest that nets more golds/better items than normal. It is all just coincidence.

I actually think that computer randomizers/code is based on timestamps ultimately. If there was a way to record that..

Ultimately they probably seed from multiple variables. I highly doubt they would have it seed on something that can be duplicated with precision.

Actually, its a free way to get sweet tooth. Its only expensive if you are stupid enough to buy them at 3k a pop.

imo either you buy it 3k a pop or while PvPing earned the faction, its all the same. since they PvEers are farming for money, and at the same time PvPers are "farming" factions as well, so either you buy the key for 3k each or you spend 5k faction for a key, they are on the same boat, and yes, you dont want see those drop so often

Never really though of it that way to be honest. Now that I think about it, both amount to about the same time. But i just don't find the PvP part "fun" for some reason.

Well, I tried doing both acquiring the keys myself through faction pts and buying the keys...since im not a hardcore player w/ the pvp mode...I actually have more fun earning money through selling stuff and buying more keys...(and not at 3k ofcourse. lol)

Im pretty much doing this everytime Im online nowadays for research purposes....I really want to discover (at least 1 of ) those "unkowns" by the time we start GW2. /hopes

What happens if you open the chest 70 times to let it all fit your nice screen shot you post here, and you dont have enough inventory space to get all you items back into the outpost? Do you get a window with reserved items or something, like when you finish a mission and dont pick up all the items?

Well my latest attempts - 7 keys = 4 Brulee's, a firewater, an elite Ele tome and a req 11 Dwarven Axe (kept this to use on a hero).
